It is sometimes necessary to manually register a .dll file on the server, in particular payment gateway .dll's, for a process for function properly. The following are the instructions on how to register a .dll file on a Windows server:|
1. Open a command prompt window on the server.
2. Navigate to the Cart32 directory (under \cgi-bin\ on web install, under \program files\MWAInc\ on full install).
*This can be accomplished using the CD DirectoryName command, replacing the "DirectoryName" with the actual directory or subdirectory name.
3. In the Cart32 directory, type the following command line:
regsvr32 FileName.dll , replacing "FileName" with the actual dll file name.
4. A pop-up window should display "DllRegisterServer in 'FileName' suceeded".
