Cart32 has a feature which allows your customers to create a User Account. This account allows the customer to return and have their information remembered by your cart with a simple log in. Users can also view previous orders they've made. Use the quick links below to jump to the section desired for information about this feature:

Creating A Login Link
Creating A "Forgot Your Password" Form

Creating A Login Link
Your customers can log in any time before or during the checkout process. There are two ways to create a login link. In our example we will be using a cart located at http://www.Cart32.com/cgi-bin/cart32.exe and a client code of TEST.

User Login (Form/POST)
<form method="post" action="http://www.Cart32.com/cgi-bin/cart32.exe/TEST-Logon">
<input type="submit" value="Log Into Your Account" />
</form>

User Login (Link/GET)
<a href="http://www.Cart32.com/cgi-bin/cart32.exe/TEST-Logon">Log Into Your Account</a>

Creating A "Forgot Your Password" Form
Using the login form above your customers will have an option to indicate they have forgotten their password. When they do, they get their password sent to their email account. If, however, you'd like to have your own form for this on your site you can simply create a form. Again our example uses the url http://www.Cart32.com/cgi-bin/cart32.exe and a client code of TEST.

<form method="post" action="http://www.cart32.com/cgi-bin/cart32.exe/test-logon">
Enter email address: <input type="text" name="email" />
<input type="hidden" name="forgotpassword" value="Y" />
<input type="submit" value="Request Password" />
</form>
