FileZilla is a free, cross-platform FTP application. Some features of FileZilla include but are not limited to:

• Transfer files using FTP and encrypted FTP such FTPS (server and client) and SFTP (client only).
  
• Supports IPv6 which is the latest version on internet protocol.
  
• Tabbed user interface for multitasking, to allow browsing more than one server or even transfer files simultaneously between multiple servers.
  
• Bookmarks for easy access to most frequent use.
  
• Drag and drop to download and upload.

How To Upload Files:

-- Download FileZilla from https://filezilla-project.org/

-- Get logged in to your Site Manager by going to File>>Site Manager and entering your credentials to login into your hosting account (if assistance needed with credentials, contact the Cart32 support team).

-- Once logged in, on the right side of the FTP client window you will see a list of all the files and folders on your account similar to the image below:






-- From the right panel of the FTP client navigate to the folder on your account in which you want to upload the new files, for example – httpdocs.

-- Then, select one or more files from the left side panel (your computer) to be uploaded and right click on them. From the menu that shows up, click the Upload button.

-- The transfer will automatically be initiated, which will be indicated at the bottom panel of the application.

-- Wait for the upload to complete, after which the uploading of these files will be logged in the Successful Transfers tab at the bottom panel.

Downloading Files:

-- To download files from your hosting account to your computer, first connect to the hosting account similarly to when you want to upload files. On the left side panel navigate to the location on your computer where you want to download the files. On the right side panel navigate to the folder on your hosting account from where you want to download the files and select the ones you want to download. Right click them and choose the Download button.

-- The download of the files will begin and you can follow the download progress from the section at the bottom.

-- Once the download is completed you will see the downloaded files on the desired folder on your computer.
