Cannot view order details or credit card numbers

If you can't view the order details and/or credit card numbers using "view" order, please check the following:

1. You must use Internet Explorer (which supports ActiveX).

2. You must have ActiveX enabled in Internet Explorer. To check this, please do the following in Internet Explorer:

• Select Tools, then Internet Options from the menu at the top of the Internet Explorer window. The Internet Options window will appear.
• Select Security from the list of tabs at the top of the Internet Options window. The Security tab will appear.
• Select the Custom Level button. The Security Settings window will appear.
• Scroll down to the Download signed ActiveX controls entry and select the prompt radio button.
• Scroll down to the Run ActiveX controls and plugins entry and select the enabled radio button.
• Select the OK button to accept the changes

If you are using Private/Public Encryption Keys, please check the following:

1. You must have the Cart32Control.ctlGenerateKeys object in Internet Explorer. To check this, please do the following in Internet Explorer:

• Select Tools, then Internet Options from the menu at the top of the Internet Explorer window. The Internet Options window will appear.
• Select General from the list of tabs at the top of the Internet Options window.
• Select the View Objects button. The Downloaded Program Files window will appear.
• Check for the Program File “Cart32Control.ctlGenerateKeys” with a status of Installed.
• Close out this Window and select the Cancel buttons to return.
• If this object is not installed, please contact Cart32 support to help you generate this file by logging into a test account.

2. The “key” file must be stored on your computer. To check this, please do the following:

• Select Windows Start.
• Select “Run…”
• Open “c:\” (C is your main hard drive, but this may vary) and click OK. This will open a window of your hard drive contents.
• Check for a file labeled yourclientcode_KF.ckf. If you cannot locate this file, you will need to regenerate your keys. To regenerate encryption keys, please follow the steps in Cart32 KB article “Setting up public/private key encryption in Cart32”

3. A registry entry must point to the “key” file. To check this, please do the following:
• Select Windows Start.
• Select “Run…”
• Open "regedit" and click OK.
• In the left pane, go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER -> Software -> VB and VBA Program Settings -> Microsoft -> Cart32 Install Key (.#########) -> CLIENT CODE.
• Check the right pane for an entry with the Name “KF”, Type “REG_SZ”, and Data “c:\yourclientcode_KF.ckf”. If you cannot locate this entry, but you do have the key file from Step 2 above, see Cart32 KB article “How to recreate a registry path to the private key on the hard drive”.
